Fadel Group takes Social Responsibility as an integral part of its values. For this purpose, we have created in 2010 a Foundation under the name Fondation Fouad & Toufic Fadel that funds projects aiming at advancing Health and Education. We believe that long-term sustainability of our business society lies in healthy and educated people as a cornerstone to social progress and development.
We spot, evaluate, and fund bright ideas and outstanding talent ingrained in brilliant students and scholars who intend to bring their project into reality and found a concrete business around it. It should be based on a sound business plan supported by a mock-up or prototype. We take part in forums and sessions designed to evaluate the feasibility of business plans and vote on the winning projects that are then funded to reach their ultimate goal and become real business enterprises.
We also finance projects with local community and International organizations that help save human life by providing necessary drugs, nutrients and other health-related equipment and solutions. We also develop with Health Authorities fortification programs applied to flour, oil, sugar or rice. Such programs help prevent nutritional deficiencies and eradicate malnutrition and famine.
